I
see calm seas of blue, sparkling multicoloured rainbows of bliss. Yellows of
inspiration, golds of achievements. Fury, rage and passion, different hues of
red streaked across in heavy strokes. The black of grief and loss leaves in its
wake a marring trail,
dignified strokes
set apart from the rest, and yet so distinct. And whites, so much white, all
waiting to be filled, waiting to be coloured in. Everything part and parcel of
the vibrant polaroid of life.
Each
stroke, each dapple, each pigment a testament to being alive. Do you see how
unique and beautiful these experiences make you ? Why do you insist on erasing
the past ? Do you see that you’re really trying to clear the canvas and start
on a blank slate ?
" Life is a great big canvas. Throw all the paint you can at it. " - Danny Kaye
