Drops of Jupiter

Instead of tying your emotions into more dead knots,  take a moment and unscramble your macrame of thoughts. Raise your head and let your heart skip a beat. You may see pitch darkness stretching its arms all the way into the Milky Way, but right there is a reminder of how you’re simultaneously tiny and gargantuan all at once.

How do you not marvel at the wonder of it all? Here you are, a tiny speck in an existence so vast it bears no comprehension, and yet you have the power to change your thoughts, decide your next course of action. Just like that, you have the power to change your little slice of the universe. These are nights that remind you that in the darkest days, hope exists. Sometimes you just need to believe in it. Like starlit skies on dark summer nights.

“The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.” - Carl Sagan
